Marseille vs Olympiakos Preview
Marseille striker Jordan Ayew prefers to focus on the challenge his side face in the Champions League against Olympiacos rather than Paris St Germain in Ligue 1 at the weekend.
Marseille sit second behind Arsenal in Champions League Group F and Ayew knows picking up three points against Olympiacos is important.
"From a personal standpoint, I am focused on Olympiacos,'' Ayew told the club website, om.net.
If we win, we would make a great step towards the knockout (stages). Ayew is aware Marseille would top the group if they beat Olympiacos and Arsenal do not win against Borussia Dortmund.
Ayew believes OM can beat Dortmund in their final game if they have to but wants a positive result against Olympiacos to make that match at home to the German side more comfortable.
Also absent are Argentinian midfielder Ariel Ibagaza, along with Daskalakis Zaradoukas, Javito, Monche, Athanasios Papazoglou, Pablo Ormpaith and Jean Makoun.
